IOGT - What we do
IOGT England and Wales
  • gives members an organization of like-minded people who live alcohol-free lives.

  • makes frequent contact with the Government in order to make our principles known and to recommend changes to current legislation.
IOGT England and Wales provides:

  • Education about the dangers of alcohol and other drug abuse.

  • Funding for those organisations who work with alcoholics and their families.

  • The opportunity to meet other like-minded people from both this country and abroad through attendance at International seminars and Congresses.

  • Youth activities
Aid to Problem Drinkers (APD)

This is an independent group which is run alongside IOGT England and Wales. It raises funds which are then donated to organizations which provide services for alcoholics and their families. Each year a meeting is held in conjunction with the National Conference of IOGT England and Wales at which there is often a speaker from a local organization. If you require more information about APD please use the Contacts page.
